My life has changed dramatically over the course of the last couple of years and it is because of the Read/Write Web or Web 2.0 as some have come to describe it. Blog (noun) ~ short for Web Log. Basically, it is a platform for personal publishing. It's a place to have your say, a place to join in on the greatest conversation ever held.
Blogger (noun) ~ someone who creates and maintains a blog
Blogging(verb) ~ the process of creating and maintaining a blog
Blogosphere (noun) ~ The totality of blogs; a community or social network of blogs

Technorati has been tracking the blogosphere, or world of weblogs, since November 2002. The blogosphere has been doubling in size every 6 months or so. It is over 100 times bigger than it was just 3 years ago.
1. Passionate ~ write about ideas that are near and dear to your heart.
2. Purposeful ~ make sure you keep the end in mind; why are you blogging?
3. Present ~ keep an eye on what's topical today
4. Positional ~ Take a stand on an issue and follow it
Seek your own level-with the number of times you post and the time you spend commenting. Some bloggers post four to five times a day, others post once a week. Do what you feel comfortable with-there are really no rules when it comes to the frequency of posting.
